This week Lucasfilm releases the trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and it's missing one crucial Star Wars element. Plus, Chief Operating Officer and top future CEO candidate Tom Staggs announced he is resigning. We put forth two theories on why Tom wasn’t good enough to be Disney CEO. Then we talk about who might be able to take the helm and why Disney may think about buying Dreamworks. Plus, stay tuned at the end for a tribute to Erik Bauersfeld, voice of Admiral Ackbar. For the week of April 11, this is episode 78 of the Disney Movie Review.

Apologies in advance for the audio this week. We tried a new setting that was about as forgiving as the emperor.

This week it's our spoiler review of Zootopia. Andy from The D-Cast joins Ken and Cameron to talk about the overwhelming positive reaction to the movie. They also tackle the themes the movie brings up, including racial justice and drugs in the community. In addition, they talk through the elephant sized plot hole that no one seems to be noticing. Plus, we briefly go over that Captain America: Civil War trailer. That and much much more. For the week of March 14, this is Episode 73 of The Disney Movie Review.

Pixar released a trailer for The Good Dinosaur and immediately ran into a public relations challenge. What Pixar will have to do to overcome it. And prices on annual passes went up at Disney parks and there is one ultimate test to decide whether Disney is still worth it.

This week a new study says audiences are more excited for the Hunger Games than Star Wars. There are probably two reasons why. Disney invests in a virtual reality company to help them sell jeans to miners. It's explained in the podcast. Netflix says they want to be the next Disney and they are going after China to prove it.

This week Disney released a new trailer for The Jungle Book, but don’t worry. Disney won’t screw up the canon this time. PBS puts out a 2-night documentary on Walt Disney to mixed reviews. Why no one really knows whether it’s good or bad. Disney announced some Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious news and it's probably too late to stop it. And a VERY special guest stops by to talk about Cinderella’s DVD release.

This week, Cameron joins us again to break down the news of the week. Disney and Dreamworks have agreed to sever their distribution agreement, but what does that really mean? And who gets the better side of that deal? Captain America gets into a fight with Steven Spielberg and DC Comics gets in on the fun, potentially starting a war of the words. And even though it has nothing to do with Disney movies we talk about the new Jungle Cruise breakfast at Disneyland. That and much, much more.
