This week we talk to Erik Bauersfield, the voice of Admiral Askbar and Bib Fortuna from Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi. Bauersfield has worked in radio drama for more than 60 years. Star Wars is a very small part of his life so we ask him:

  • What is the biggest change he's seen in radio since then the 60's.
  • How did he become the voice for Admiral Ackbar
  • Who has been his favorite character to play in radio, tv and film
  • What is his favorite Star Wars movie
  • He started the Bay Area Radio Drama foundation. We talk about what made him start that.
  • The most important thing for people to know about his life in radio.
